The Yoruba [represent, yo.] goddess Oshun done as a commission. Took me far longer than it should have, but a lot of that was just trying to find inspiration, dammit. Ah, well. It's finished now, and I can move on to other things.
No problem. Up to you. Removing an image is easy - having one's work selected for a feature on a major website is generally a bit harder. And people who write those blogs generally don't have time to deal with individual artist's particular requests. Just saying.
I appreciate that, and I'm flattered you even considered using my art in the first place. I'm just not comfortable with my art being linked back to this account as I don't post here anymore and it wouldn't do much for me. That's all.
God, this is gorgeous. You def captured what Oshun is all about. Nice to see some Yoruba art out there drawn by people who actually know what they're drawing. Would it be okay if I printed this out and framed it? I'm not selling it or anything; just want to have it to look at.
I would be insanely flattered if your bought a print, but it's by no means an obligation. I'm just happy that you like my drawing so much. I'm really surprised at how much attention my Oshun has gotten. Thank you so, so much for taking the time to comment. I really appreciate it.
