This is just the inked sketch of the drawing I did for the devil in my Arcana series. Quite a few people have told me it would make pretty good flash, and I tend to agree. So, there will be two versions of this. One for the series and one to show around tattoo parlours.
I would love to have my art on someone's skin. It's there for life, man. That would be the ultimate compliment.
As my tattooist says 'Art you take to your grave'. This is a really nice peice, I really like it. I really like the idea of a marriage between heaven and hell anyway. Sounds really alchemical...

Yeah a back piece would probably work. Now I could see it working with the devil on the spine, or the two characters either side of the spine. Both would have hidden symbolism and meaning. The first would be connecting the devil to the kundalini serpent of Tantric tradition, the second would be more like a marriage of the left and right hemispheres, the Apollonian and the Dionysian.
